This workshop is designed to educate you on the principles that go into modifying your yoga practice for osteoporosis.
We will discuss appropriate poses, contraindications and safeguards to practice. You will learn how to move from the "inside out" and how to find your safety limits through the practice of self care and mindfulness.
Our time together will be a combination of education, Q&A , and active practice. Bring your inquisitive minds and playfulness and learn how facilitate a well rounded practice to support the needs of a body with osteoporosis.

Harvey will lead you through gentle restorative yoga, a practice of long holds of supported postures of low intensity, with expertise and care. During the restorative yoga Teresa leads a sound healing with crystal singing bowls, vocals, and other therapeutic instruments to guide you in to a deeper state of relaxation to support your own inner healing. Space is limited and we'd love to you there so registration in advance is highly suggested.
Gather with us at Harvey’s retreat space, The Hook of Hamate, in Fennville, MI. We’ll begin this special evening in the beautiful studio space at the Hook. Harvey and Teresa will lead you through an evening yoga session of therapeutic yoga and crystal singing bowl sound bath. After we will enjoy time spent together and a shared meal of Indian cuisine. $99 ticket cost covers the cost of the experience including your meal, wine, and dessert. This event is limited to 12 participants. We recommend signing up right away. Tickets are non-refundable.

Join Amy G for yoga, storytelling, and mantra. These sessions will focus on the Sanskrit names for the poses we do so often. The movement is all levels, alignment based yoga, incorporating sanskrit and the stories associated with it. This approach can give deeper meaning to postures and aid in embracing lessons on and off the mat. The session concludes with chanting and manta which is optional to participate or just listen and absorb the sound. Come explore and be inspired by the philosophy and practice of yoga.

Yoga for Beginners 2 can be taken on its own or as a follow up to Yoga for Beginners 1. Similar to Beginners 1, this 5 week series focuses on learning alignment and modifications but we’ll also work on learning common transitions from pose to pose to help create the fluidity found in our Hatha vinyasa classes.

Beginner friendly breathwork techniques calm and balance the nervous system and prepare us for a sound bath of crystal singing bowls, gong, ocean drum, chimes, and vocals. No experience is necessary. Space is limited. Registration in advance is suggested. $25
