A slower flow style vinyasa yoga practice with movement from pose to pose, linking breath, body and mind. This practice teaches us how to use our breath to move energy and stabilize from the inside out. Yoga postures and breathing techniques are used to help strengthen and tone the pelvic floor, diaphragm, lungs, heart, and mental functions as well as helps balance the five systems of the body. All levels are welcome to attend this moderate class, modifications will be given.
Gentle Yoga is a beginner friendly class with modifications offered but experienced Yoga students will also benefit from slowing down the poses and including gentler, more restorative practices. Gentle Yoga includes accessible postures and guided meditation. These postures and practices are intended to nourish and replenish the body while calming the nervous system and mind.
Yoga Therapeutics combines yoga postures, functional anatomy, breath work, and guided meditation techniques. Blending functional anatomy cues and the art of our ancient Yoga practice allows us to lessen some of the stressors on the system and shape the practice from the inside out.
This class is heated to 85 degrees and is
in for those who’d like more challenge than our signature Hatha Vinyasa and Therapeutic classes. Perfect for those who have want to build strength, stability, and balance. Modifications will be given but some prior experience of yoga is suggested.
An all levels practice of slow flow, gentle yoga postures, breath work, and meditation. Class begins with a 60 minute yoga practice and ends with a long savasana and sound bath. A sound bath or sound healing is a meditative experience with the participant being bathed in sound waves from the crystal singing bowls and other sound healing instruments. You'll leave feeling calm, centered, and relaxed. Open to all levels and abilities.
A slow and grounded practice that uses props, bolsters, and blankets to create support for the body in long hold of poses with low intensity. Restorative yoga is perfect for those who like a little extra time in the poses and the slow pace of this class does make it beginner friendly.
This class starts out with gentle hatha yoga and moves into an all levels slow flow. Class concludes with relaxing into stillness through calming and grounding restorative postures.
