Teresa Van Eyk

Teresa Van Eyk is a yoga teacher, sacred sound artist, and the owner of Satya Yoga in Saugatuck, Michigan. She is an experienced and registered yoga teacher at the 500 hour level (eryt500) and the founder and lead trainer of Satya Yoga’s teacher training programs.

Teresa trained under Karina Mirsky (eryt500) at Sangha Yoga Institute at the 200 hour and 300 hour level in the style of Tantric Hatha Vinyasa and Meditation, sourced from the Yoga of the Himalayas. Teresa studied functional anatomy and the application of therapeutic yoga with highly sought after Physical Therapist and long time yoga teacher and trainer Harvey Deutch (eryt500). She studied Ayurveda through the American Institute of Vedic Studies with David Frawley. 

Teresa has been practicing yoga since 2009, has been the owner of Satya Yoga since 2011, and has been a certified yoga teacher since 2013. She has accrued over 6,500 hours of experience through teaching classes, workshops, private lessons, and teacher trainings. 

Teresa’s classes are inclusive and adaptive, intelligently and safely sequenced, and infused with yoga philosophy, mindfulness, and therapeutic sound.
